Cloud Platform Operations & Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Operations & Maintenance Engineer to join our on‑site team in Dubai. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of our cloud platforms while providing technical support to customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day cloud platform operations, routine health checks, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor platform performance, capacity, availability and respond to system alerts.
• Troubleshoot incidents, restore services promptly, and track tickets to resolution.
• Support configuration changes, software updates, patches, and upgrades.
• Verify backup and disaster‑recovery activities and recommend corrective actions for risks.
• Prepare daily, periodic, project, incident and O&M service reports.
• Maintain and update operational procedures, incident processes and documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, development, product teams and cloud vendors.
• Assist with cloud platform testing and go‑live activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Security or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud operations and maintenance.
• Professional fluency in both Chinese and English.
• Strong understanding of enterprise‑level IT operations processes and standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication and incident‑management skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in rotational 5×8 or 7×24 shifts, including on‑call duty.
• Valid work visa/authorization for the United Arab Emirates.
