Cluster Senior Sales Manager – MICE

About the role

The Senior Sales Manager – MICE will lead the development and growth of the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions segment across Novotel, ibis World Trade Centre and ibis One Central Dubai. The role focuses on building strategic relationships and securing profitable business from corporate clients, exhibition organisers and other key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute proactive sales strategies to achieve MICE revenue targets across three properties.
• Identify, prospect and secure new business opportunities, especially exhibitions, trade events and conferences linked to DWTC.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, site inspections and follow‑up.
• Manage relationships with exhibition organisers, PCOs, event agencies and trade associations to capture room‑night, meeting space and catering opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM data and pipeline reports for management visibility.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Reservations, Marketing and operations to ensure commercial viability and successful event delivery.

Required profile

• Commercially driven with proven experience in MICE sales within a hotel cluster.
• Strong ability to develop strategic relationships with corporate clients, exhibition organisers and industry partners.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with a focus on profitability and balanced business mix.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM systems for pipeline and forecast management.
• Knowledge of revenue management principles and pricing strategies.
