About the role
Home Bakery is hiring a Junior Barista for its kitchen at Dubai Mall, UAE. The role is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages while providing excellent customer service and maintaining company standards. It is a full-time position.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, take orders and give recommendations
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea and other beverages to company standards
- Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders and other bar equipment safely
- Ensure accurate portioning and presentation of drinks
- Upsell products and promote special items
- Maintain sufficient stock of ingredients and supplies
- Complete daily coffee bar checklists and keep equipment in good condition
- Keep the coffee bar and work area clean and organised
- Follow company SOPs, grooming standards and health and safety guidelines
