Collection Officer

About the role

The Collection Officer will join Abu Dhabi National Hotels’ finance team to manage overdue accounts and support cash flow. Working closely with senior credit staff, you will engage customers, assess repayment options and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and monitor overdue accounts using the company’s automated systems.
• Contact customers by phone, email or in person to understand payment delays and discuss contract terms.
• Collaborate with the Senior Credit Officer to propose repayment plans tailored to customers’ financial situations.
• Record all collection activities and customer financial status in the designated IT system.
• Persuade customers to settle outstanding credit balances or resolve non‑payable checks.
• Apply knowledge of billing and collection procedures, supporting the finance and accounting functions.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of high‑volume corporate collections experience.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, proactive and customer‑focused.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
