Collector Cum Accountant

About the role

The Collector Cum Accountant will manage both accounting functions and customer collections for a safety and security consultancy in Dubai. The role combines day‑to‑day bookkeeping with proactive receivables management to ensure timely cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, post journal entries and update the general ledger.
• Issue invoices, track accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.
• Visit clients when required to collect payments and obtain necessary documentation.
• Reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies and prepare account statements.
• Handle cash and cheque collections, ensuring prompt submission to the finance department.
• Assist with bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and general accounting tasks.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and support audit, taxation and other finance‑related activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in accounting, collections or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Mid‑level professional with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance.
• Experience with accounts receivable and cash collection processes.
• Ability to prepare journal entries and financial statements.
• Knowledge of bank reconciliation and accounts payable procedures.
