Colour Material Finish Design Manager

About the role

The Colour Material Finish (CMF) Design Manager will define the colour, material and finish direction that shapes the Etihad guest experience from ground services to the aircraft cabin. Working closely with external consultants and internal stakeholders, you will translate the Etihad brand into tangible CMF concepts across every touch‑point of the journey.

Key responsibilities

• Define the material aesthetic and tactile strategy for all guest‑facing environments, ensuring a holistic vision across multiple touch‑points.
• Lead material innovation initiatives, identifying opportunities and developing strategic solutions.
• Provide CMF design direction for soft products, hard products, onboard amenities, new aircraft seats, cabin projects and architectural environments.
• Manage product and material development in partnership with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Produce 2D sketches and fully developed 3D renderings to visualise CMF concepts.
• Present compelling narratives and visual stories to senior stakeholders.
