Commis 1 – Cold Kitchen Assistant

About the role

The Commis 1 – Cold position supports the kitchen team in delivering high‑quality cold dishes in a fast‑paced hotel environment. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and other team members to ensure smooth service across breakfast and à‑la‑carte operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the cold station, including mise en place and stock lists.
• Follow ordering procedures and ensure all orders are processed through the captain.
• Monitor cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist in supervising breakfast and 24‑hour à‑la‑carte service, controlling portion size and presentation.
• Report any irregularities to the Sous Chef and hand over duties to the next shift supervisor.
• Comply with hotel policies on punctuality, uniform, and personal hygiene.
