Commis 3 – Food Production Assistant

About the role
The Commis 3 role delivers consistent, high‑quality food production in the assigned work area while providing courteous, professional service to maximise guest satisfaction at Bab Al Shams Desert Resort.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work station and adhere to sanitation standards.
- Assist the Chef de Partie and Demi‑Chef in preparing mise‑en‑place and producing menu items according to standard recipes.
- Ensure compliance with F&B policies, HACCP procedures and Dubai Municipality health regulations.
- Report maintenance needs, accidents or unsafe conditions to the manager promptly.
- Support departmental cleaning schedules in coordination with the Stewarding Department.
Required profile
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position within a five‑star hotel.
- Positive attitude, good communication skills and ability to work under pressure, both independently and in a team.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications.
- HACCP control knowledge and understanding of food safety procedures.
