Commis 3 – Kitchen (Amara Lounge)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Commis 3 to join the Amara Lounge kitchen team at Jumeirah Living Marina Gate. This full‑time position supports the culinary team in delivering high‑quality dishes for our guests in a fast‑paced, luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, measure, mix and prepare meal ingredients, sauces and seasonings according to recipes.
• Wash, peel and chop vegetables, fruits and meats while maintaining hygiene standards.
• Cut and season various meats under the direction of senior culinary staff.
• Prepare basic dishes such as salads and sauces, following plating guidelines.
• Ensure accurate recipe execution and consistent food presentation.
• Maintain proper stocking and organization of food items in refrigerators and freezers.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in a 4‑star or 5‑star hotel or high‑volume restaurant.
• Basic culinary certification or diploma in Hospitality/Culinary Arts (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen hygiene.
• Understanding of HACCP and food safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
