About the role

Join the culinary team at DoubleTree By Hilton Resort & Spa and help create memorable dining experiences for guests. As a Commis Chef you will support the kitchen brigade by preparing and presenting high‑quality dishes in line with Hilton standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and plate dishes according to approved recipes and brand guidelines.
• Manage guest orders efficiently and meet service timelines.
• Execute recipes accurately, conduct quality checks and ensure presentation standards.
• Organise mise en place, maintain stock levels and perform inventory checks.
• Support food cost control through portioning, waste reduction and efficient ingredient use.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and organized kitchen, preventing cross‑contamination.
• Adhere to health, safety, fire and food‑handling regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues, report maintenance or safety concerns and contribute to team goals.

Required profile

• Ability to follow recipes and produce consistent, high‑quality dishes.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Capability to manage mise en place and inventory requirements.
• Strong teamwork attitude and willingness to support kitchen operations.
