Cluster Workshop Manager – Golf Facilities

About the role

Lead technical operations for a prestigious hospitality group overseeing the mechanical heartbeat of award‑winning golf courses. You will manage multiple workshops, drive a preventative maintenance culture, and ensure equipment reliability for elite landscapes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily workshop activities to meet the needs of Golf Course Managers and landscape teams.
• Establish and update maintenance schedules for grinding/cutting units to guarantee quality cuts.
• Manage, mentor and train a diverse team of technicians, fostering safety and continuous skill improvement.
• Control inventory by managing PAR stock levels, reviewing turnover ratios and logging repairs, parts usage and costs.
• Implement strict SOPs, hazard analyses and safety signage in line with company directives and local legislation.
• Provide high‑level consultation on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and diesel systems, introducing new efficiencies.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in automotive or industrial maintenance, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Technical Diploma or equivalent qualification covering electrics, hydraulics and diesel/petrol engines.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Resilient and proactive, able to achieve results under pressure.
• Strong commitment to safety procedures and compliant operations.
