About the role
The Commis I supports the kitchen team by assisting chefs with food preparation and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. This entry‑level position offers the opportunity to learn culinary techniques and gain experience across different kitchen stations in a dynamic hotel setting.
Key responsibilities
- Assist chefs in preparing and executing dishes according to established recipes.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Support kitchen cleanliness by cleaning workstations and equipment.
- Help with stocking and inventory management of kitchen supplies.
- Collaborate with senior chefs and colleagues to support overall kitchen operations.
- Participate in training sessions and culinary development opportunities.
