About the role

We are looking for a motivated fresh Mechanical Engineering graduate to join our Oil & Gas project team in Abu Dhabi as a Commissioning Engineer – Trainee. Working under senior supervision, you will support mechanical pre‑commissioning activities and help ensure safe plant start‑up.

Key responsibilities

Assist senior engineers in inspecting mechanical equipment, piping, and valves before plant start‑up.
Participate in site walk‑downs to verify that physical installations match P&ID and isometric drawings.
Support line flushing, hydro‑testing and initial equipment trials for pumps, compressors and valves.
Help prepare and organise commissioning documentation, test packs and punch lists.
Coordinate with site HSE teams to ensure testing activities comply with safety protocols.
Track and report daily progress of mechanical pre‑commissioning tasks.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (fresh graduate).
UAE‑based with a valid visa.
Fluent in English.

Required skills

Basic knowledge of P&IDs.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
