Commissioning Manager (PMC) – Offshore Projects

About the role

The Commissioning Manager (PMC) leads and oversees all commissioning and start‑up activities for major offshore oil & gas, marine or energy projects on behalf of the Project Management Consultant. The role ensures safe, efficient and compliant execution from pre‑commissioning through hand‑over to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage commissioning and start‑up (CSU) activities for offshore projects.
• Coordinate closely with EPC contractors, operators and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure safe, efficient and regulatory‑compliant execution of pre‑commissioning, commissioning, start‑up and hand‑over phases.
• Oversee mechanical completion, performance trials and dynamic testing of package equipment.

Required profile

• Extensive experience (approximately 20 years) in offshore commissioning and start‑up.
• Strong technical expertise and leadership capability.
• Deep knowledge of offshore systems, regulatory requirements and gas compressor technology.
