Communication Engineer Offshore

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Communication Engineer to join its offshore team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on reviewing and approving FEED deliverables for a new PAGA system and ensuring seamless integration with the telecommunication infrastructure across the PIB, substation and desalter plant areas.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve all FEED deliverables related to the new PAGA system.
• Guarantee that all interfaces to the telecommunication system are correctly defined and implemented.
• Conduct security‑system coverage studies, including video surveillance, analytics and access control.
• Coordinate with construction and commissioning phases to ensure design compliance.
• Apply Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and HCIS security directives where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or HVAC Engineering.
• Minimum eight years of engineering experience, with at least four years on major oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Proven experience in FEED and detailed engineering, preferably in a PMC environment.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and HCIS security processes is advantageous.
