Communications Lead – MENAT

About the role

Spotify is seeking a culturally fluent, strategically sharp, and creative Communications Lead to shape and share its story across the MENAT+ region. Reporting to the Head of Communications, SAMEA, you will partner with regional leadership and global communications teams to strengthen Spotify’s reputation and champion local creators.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute an integrated communications strategy for MENAT+, placing regional creators, audiences, and culture at the core of storytelling.
• Provide counsel to regional leaders on business priorities, reputational risks, and high‑impact moments.
• Identify and act on reputational opportunities, responding thoughtfully to evolving cultural, media, policy, and regulatory dynamics.
• Lead creator‑first, earned‑first storytelling that builds fandom, discovery, and cultural relevance.
• Collaborate with Music, Podcasts, Product, Growth, Marketing, Public Affairs and other teams to align communications with regional priorities.
• Translate global communications priorities into locally resonant messages.
• Oversee corporate, executive, internal and B2B communications, including media engagement and thought‑leadership positioning.
• Manage agency relationships and budgets, ensuring high‑quality, locally relevant output across a diverse geographic footprint.

Required profile

• 10+ years of communications experience covering consumer, corporate, reputation and policy domains.
• Deep understanding of media, cultural and creator landscapes across MENA, Türkiye, Pakistan or adjacent markets.
• Strategic thinker with adaptable storytelling ability.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑moving, culturally dynamic markets.
