Compliance Manager – UAE (Dubai/Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The Local Compliance Manager will lead the firm’s compliance function across the UAE, covering both the Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices. Reporting to the Head of Compliance for ME Markets and Türkiye and the Office Managing Partner, the role ensures that global compliance objectives are applied locally in line with UAE legal and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement global compliance policies and processes within the UAE, adapting them to meet local legal and regulatory standards.
• Act as a trusted adviser to partners, lawyers and business professionals, providing guidance on compliance matters.
• Challenge decisions, escalate issues when necessary, and maintain oversight of compliance risks.
• Support the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, Money Laundering Reporting Officer, Global Compliance Team and local management.

Required profile

• Senior in‑country lead for compliance in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of UAE legal and regulatory framework.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders and manage compliance risk.
• Experience collaborating with risk, AML and global compliance functions.
