Conformity Engineer – Telecom & Electrical/Electronics

About the role

Support end‑to‑end technical review and conformity assessment for telecom, wireless, IoT, electrical and electronics products, ensuring they meet GCC and Middle‑East regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review technical files, test reports, declarations, product labels and certification documents for regulatory completeness.
• Coordinate certification submissions and approvals across applicable GCC/Middle‑East schemes and client requirements.
• Liaise with clients, laboratories, SGS regional teams and certification stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecom, Communication Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Analytical and detail‑oriented with the ability to interpret standards, test evidence and certification requirements.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for client coordination, laboratory follow‑up and internal reporting.

Required skills

• Regulatory analysis and interpretation of conformity schemes.
• Technical documentation review and gap identification.
• Product compliance assessment for telecom, wireless, IoT, electrical and electronics categories.
• Knowledge of GCC/Middle‑East approval schemes such as type approval, G‑Mark, ECAS, SABER, IECEE, RoHS and energy‑efficiency programs.
