Construction Manager – Fitout

About the role

The Construction Manager – Fit‑Out will lead the delivery of interior fit‑out projects across commercial, hospitality, residential, retail and mixed‑use developments. You will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle from mobilisation to handover, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete fit‑out projects, developing execution plans, schedules, manpower and procurement strategies.
• Manage on‑site construction activities including civil interfaces, architectural finishes, joinery, ceilings, flooring, partitions and MEP coordination.
• Monitor progress against baselines, implement recovery plans and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and local authority requirements.
• Review budgets, cost reports and variation orders, support commercial teams with claims and contractual matters, and mitigate project risks.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders, lead progress meetings and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Champion health, safety and environmental standards, conduct safety audits and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Lead and mentor project engineers, site engineers, supervisors and subcontractors, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of construction experience in the contracting industry, with at least 5 years as a Construction Manager delivering interior fit‑out projects.
• Proven track record of managing large‑scale commercial, hospitality, residential, retail or mixed‑use fit‑out developments in the UAE/GCC.
• Strong understanding of interior fit‑out methodologies, architectural finishes, joinery, MEP coordination and authority requirements.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, cost control and resource management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Project.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite.
