Consultant Anesthesiologist

About the role

The Hospital Healthpoint in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Consultant Anesthesiologist to join its multidisciplinary clinical team. The successful candidate will deliver safe, high‑quality anesthesia services across elective, emergency and intensive‑care settings, supporting the hospital’s commitment to patient‑centered care and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia and pain management for a wide range of surgical and procedural cases, including long‑term care and ICU patients.
• Conduct thorough pre‑operative assessments and ensure appropriate post‑operative follow‑up.
• Manage airway, sedation and hemodynamic monitoring in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Collaborate with surgeons, ICU physicians, nurses and other specialists to optimise patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with Department of Health (DOH) regulations, hospital policies and patient safety protocols.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a specialization in Anesthesiology.
• Consultant‑level certification recognised by the Abu Dhabi DOH.
• Valid DOH licence or eligibility to obtain one.
• Proven experience in anesthesia practice, including peri‑operative and critical‑care environments.
