Registered Nurse – Endoscopy

About the role

The Registered Nurse – Endoscopy will provide specialist nursing care within the endoscopy department, supporting patient assessment, treatment planning and procedural assistance. The role involves promoting a learning culture among nursing staff and acting as a clinical subject‑matter expert.

Key responsibilities

• Perform systematic patient assessments, develop and evaluate care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Assist in invasive and non‑invasive endoscopic procedures and ensure safe patient admission, transfer and discharge.
• Lead audit and data collection for key performance indicators and benchmarking.
• Support nurse educator with training programmes and needs analysis within the specialty.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, providing emotional support and health promotion.

Required profile

• Current registered nurse licence with the relevant health authority.
• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Post‑graduate specialist qualification (diploma, degree or master’s) in endoscopy or related field.
• Proven experience in the specialist field and completion of relevant competencies.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic communication is desirable.
