Consultant Cardiac Electrophysiologist – Leading Hospital

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The role involves diagnosing and managing complex cardiac rhythm disorders and performing advanced electrophysiology procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct electrophysiology studies (EPS) and interpret results.
• Perform catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, SVT and ventricular arrhythmias.
• Implant and manage pacemakers and ICD devices.
• Provide independent management of complex arrhythmia cases.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team in a state‑of‑the‑art cardiac surgery centre.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD) with postgraduate cardiology qualification.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Tier 1 / Western Board qualification preferred (e.g., UK CCT, American Board, Canadian Board).
• Minimum 5 years post‑specialist/consultant experience in cardiac electrophysiology.
• Eligibility for UAE medical license (DOH/DHA/MOHAP).
• Fluent English; additional languages advantageous.
