Consultant Cardiac Surgeon (American Board / UK CCT)

About the role

SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly qualified Consultant Cardiac Surgeon to join a leading healthcare institution in Dubai. The role is designed for surgeons with American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent Western qualifications who are committed to delivering excellent cardiac surgical care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre‑operative assessments and develop surgical treatment plans.
• Perform advanced cardiac procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting and valve repair or replacement.
• Provide full peri‑operative patient management, including intra‑operative and post‑operative care.
• Manage complex and emergency cardiac cases as required.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, nurses and other multidisciplinary team members.
• Participate in cardiac case discussions and treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Recognised American Board, UK CCT or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Cardiac Surgery.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑specialisation experience in cardiac surgery.
• Proven expertise in complex cardiac procedures, especially CABG and valve surgery.
• Strong clinical decision‑making and patient‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
