Consultant Colon & Rectal Surgeon – UK CCT Certified

About the role

Leading Private Hospital in the UAE is looking for an experienced Consultant Colon and Rectal Surgeon to join its multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will deliver expert surgical care for a wide range of colorectal conditions, ensuring patient‑centered outcomes in a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

Key responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures for benign and malignant diseases of the colon, rectum and anus.
• Utilise minimally invasive techniques and manage complex colorectal cases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to junior surgical staff.
• Participate in clinical audits, research and continuous quality improvement.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• UK CCT in General Surgery with a colorectal fellowship or an equivalent internationally recognised board certification.
• Minimum 5 years post‑CCT/Board Certification experience as a Consultant Colon and Rectal Surgeon.
• Eligibility for a UAE health authority licence (DHA, DOH or MOH).
• Strong clinical judgment, leadership and communication abilities.
