Consultant Neurosurgeon in Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Consultant Neurosurgeon to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai. The role involves diagnosing, treating and surgically managing complex disorders of the brain, spine, peripheral nerves and cerebrovascular system while adhering to international clinical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of neurological conditions, including brain tumours, spinal disorders, traumatic brain injuries, cerebrovascular diseases, hydrocephalus, epilepsy and peripheral nerve disorders.
• Interpret MRI, CT, angiography and neurophysiological studies to establish accurate diagnoses.
• Perform complex neurosurgical procedures – cranial, spinal, skull‑base, peripheral nerve and cerebrovascular surgeries.
• Handle emergency neurosurgical cases such as intracranial haemorrhages and spinal cord injuries.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, provide pre‑operative consultation, obtain informed consent and oversee post‑operative care.
• Collaborate with neurologists, orthopaedic surgeons, intensivists, radiologists, anaesthesiologists and rehabilitation specialists.
• Supervise patients in intensive‑care settings after major procedures and maintain comprehensive medical records in line with DHA regulations.

Required profile

• Board‑certified neurosurgeon with at least 8 years of clinical experience (96 months).
• Strong clinical judgment and complex surgical decision‑making abilities.
• Commitment to evidence‑based medicine and continuous professional development.
• Excellent organisational, documentation and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Excellent microsurgical and minimally invasive neurosurgical skills.
• Advanced expertise in cranial, spinal and peripheral nerve surgery.
