About the role
The Pharmacist will deliver a comprehensive, professional and cost‑effective pharmaceutical service to patients and the public, ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards. The role is based at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in the United Arab Emirates.
Key responsibilities
- Dispense medications with proper labeling and provide usage, dosage, and relevant instructions.
- Maintain medication stock levels and storage practices in the pharmacy and wards according to company standards and best practice.
- Follow accurate patient billing processes.
Required profile
- B.Pharm degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospital or clinic pharmacy.
- All applicants will be considered, with preference given to Emirati nationals in line with the UAE Emiratization Program.
Required skills
- Implementation of JCIA standards for pharmacies.
- Knowledge of patient experience principles and related best practices.
- Stock control principles and management.
- Understanding of the UAE healthcare regulatory framework and related requirements.
