Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist – Dubai

About the role

Mediclinic Middle East is seeking a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to deliver patient‑centric, evidence‑based care in Dubai. The role involves providing high‑quality clinical services while adhering to ethical and professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, ethical clinical services to patients efficiently.
• Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records.
• Promote continuous professional development for self and colleagues.
• Uphold integrity by executing clinical services responsibly.

Required profile

• Basic medical degree plus a recognized fellowship or diploma approved by UAE health authorities.
• Certification and registration in a relevant specialty recognized by UAE regulators.
• Active, valid life‑support certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
• 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience at consultant level (independent of country).
• Preferably at least 1 year consultant experience from a Tier 1 country as defined by UAE regulator.
• Ability to support clinical clerkship training for students and junior staff.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
