Consultant Pediatrician – UAE (Full‑time)

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its paediatric services and seeks a Consultant Paediatrician to join a modern, quality‑driven clinical team. The role offers strong clinical exposure, multidisciplinary collaboration and the chance to serve a diverse international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care for infants, children and adolescents in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Diagnose and manage common paediatric illnesses, growth concerns, infections, asthma, allergies and developmental issues.
• Support immunisation programmes, preventive health initiatives, nutrition counselling and family education.
• Coordinate care with neonatology, paediatric subspecialists, emergency medicine and allied health teams.
• Recognise and promptly escalate acutely unwell children, ensuring safe admission or referral pathways.
• Maintain child‑safe documentation, obtain consent, uphold safeguarding awareness and comply with UAE regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised paediatric specialist qualification (e.g., American Board of Pediatrics, UK CCT/MRCPCH/FRCPCH, European Board, Royal College Canada, Australian FRACP, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS or equivalent).
• Proven experience in managing a broad range of paediatric conditions and developmental care.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and adhere to UAE clinical and safeguarding standards.
