Consultant Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Specialist (PM&R) – Dubai

About the role

We are partnering with a leading JCI‑accredited multispecialty healthcare group in Dubai to hire a Consultant Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Specialist. You will join a state‑of‑the‑art rehabilitation and pain‑management division, delivering advanced care to an international patient base.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage musculoskeletal, neurological and functional impairments.
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs for stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, chronic pain and sports injuries.
• Perform interventional procedures such as joint injections, nerve blocks and ultrasound‑guided treatments.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and pain specialists for multidisciplinary care.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans and provide post‑operative rehabilitation guidance.
• Lead pain‑management strategies, including non‑surgical and minimally invasive approaches.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with DHA and international standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality‑improvement initiatives and continuous medical education.

Required profile

• Board‑certified PM&R specialist (ABPMR, UK CCT/GMC, European, Canadian, Australian, Arab Board, FCPS or MD PM&R).
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑board clinical experience, preferably in a tertiary care setting.
• Eligibility for a DHA licence or an active licence is an advantage.
• Strong academic background with a commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork.
