Staff Nurse – Plastic Surgery Clinic

About the role

The Plastic Surgery Clinic at American Hospital Dubai is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to deliver specialised patient‑centred care. The role involves performing a range of clinical procedures and supporting the multidisciplinary team in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute negative pressure wound therapy, wound dressing, and alteration within professional guidelines.
• Assist with breast augmentation post‑reconstruction, skin staple and clip removal, and suture removal.
• Perform blood extraction and centrifuge processing for Platelet‑Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy.
• Support electrocautery procedures, skin excisions, biopsies, and incision & drainage.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, document all relevant data, and coordinate care plans.
• Maintain supplies, ensure safe handling of narcotics, and comply with JCIA mandatory education.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (minimum 3‑year program) or equivalent degree with registration as a Registered Nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand or Australia.
• Valid licence/registration in home country or last place of employment and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum two years recent post‑graduate experience in Plastic Surgery Nursing.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
