Consultant Radiation Oncologist (Board Certified)

About the role

A leading multispecialty hospital in Dubai is expanding its Oncology Department and seeks a Board‑Certified Consultant Radiation Oncologist. The role involves delivering high‑quality radiation therapy within a modern hospital equipped with advanced radiotherapy technologies, serving an international patient base.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and manage patients requiring radiation therapy for malignant and selected benign conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, SBRT and SRS technologies.
• Deliver precise radiation therapy in line with international clinical protocols.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards with medical, surgical oncologists, radiologists and pathologists.
• Monitor treatment response, manage side‑effects and provide palliative care.
• Perform accurate contouring of target volumes and organs at risk using CT, MRI and PET imaging.
• Supervise radiation therapists, medical physicists and dosimetrists.
• Engage in quality‑assurance programs, clinical audits and research activities.
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation and EMR records complying with UAE regulations.

Required profile

• Board‑certified Radiation Oncologist with at least 3 years post‑specialist experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary oncology environment.
• Strong communication skills for patient consultations and team collaboration.

Required skills

• Proficiency with IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, SBRT and SRS planning systems.
• Expertise in contouring using CT, MRI and PET imaging.
• Experience in radiation therapy delivery and quality‑assurance processes.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and UAE healthcare regulations.
