Consultant Specialist – Obstetrician & Gynecologist (OB‑GYN)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services, from routine antenatal care to high‑risk pregnancy management and surgical procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care for normal and high‑risk pregnancies.
• Conduct vaginal and cesarean deliveries as trained.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of gynecological conditions across all age groups.
• Perform gynecological surgeries and procedures within scope of qualifications.
• Handle obstetric and gynecological emergencies promptly.
• Offer contraception, pre‑conception counseling and reproductive health services.
• Interpret investigations, including ultrasound, when qualified.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, anesthesiologists, midwives, fertility specialists and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, teaching and CPD activities.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Relevant post‑specialty clinical experience, preferably with high‑risk pregnancy and emergency management.
• Valid professional registration/license for practice in the UAE.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication and patient‑management abilities.

Required skills
