Consultant Specialist Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon (Western Qualified)

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in the United Arab Emirates is looking for an experienced Consultant / Specialist Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. The role involves delivering comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical care within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of oral, maxillofacial and facial conditions.
• Perform complex oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including trauma, infections, cysts, tumors and impacted teeth.
• Conduct pre‑operative assessments and provide post‑operative follow‑up care.
• Collaborate with dental, ENT, plastic surgery, oncology and other specialist teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold patient safety standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality‑improvement initiatives and professional education.

Required profile

• Recognised medical/dental degree with specialist training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
• Relevant postgraduate qualification or fellowship.
• Significant clinical experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
• Current professional registration/licence in the country of practice.
• Eligibility for UAE Consultant or Specialist classification.
• Strong clinical, communication and teamwork abilities.
