Consultant Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon – Board Certified

About the role

Health7Careers is expanding its Orthopedic Department in a modern multispecialty hospital in Dubai. The Consultant/ Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon will join a multidisciplinary surgical team to deliver high‑quality musculoskeletal care to an international patient base.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Perform elective and emergency orthopedic surgeries, including fracture fixation, joint replacements and arthroscopic procedures.
• Evaluate and treat trauma cases such as fractures, dislocations and soft‑tissue injuries.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that combine surgical and conservative approaches.
• Conduct pre‑operative assessments and post‑operative follow‑ups.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, physiotherapists and rehabilitation specialists.
• Manage chronic conditions like osteoarthritis, spine disorders and sports injuries.
• Utilise advanced imaging (X‑ray, MRI, CT) for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Participate in clinical audits and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Board‑certified Orthopedic Surgeon or specialist with recognised qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of post‑specialist or board‑certification experience.
• Eligibility to practice medicine in the United Arab Emirates.

Required skills

• Proficiency with X‑ray, MRI and CT imaging modalities.
• Expertise in orthopedic surgical techniques (fracture fixation, joint replacement, arthroscopy).
• Experience using electronic medical record systems.
