Contracts Specialist

About the role

The Contracts Specialist supports Wasael Property Management’s procurement function by managing, negotiating and reviewing contracts for goods and services. The role ensures compliance with legal standards, optimal terms and seamless contract execution across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate, finalize and manage procurement contracts, including extensions, terminations and renegotiations.
• Prepare procurement proposals and coordinate competitive bid submissions.
• Monitor contract performance, assess the need for amendments or extensions and ensure compliance.
• Approve or reject deviations from contract specifications, delivery schedules or terms.
• Resolve claims or complaints arising during contract execution.
• Analyse price proposals, financial data and vendor performance for competitiveness.
• Act as liaison between the company and contractors to ensure obligations are met.
• Solicit bids, negotiate and administer resulting contracts effectively.
• Manage contract breaches and assist with termination procedures.
• Utilise SharePoint to track contract lifecycles and upload signed documents to DocuSign.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, contract management, facilities management, business administration or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in procurement and contract management, including drafting complex contracts.

Required skills

• Familiarity with FIDIC contract forms.
• Proficiency in SharePoint for contract tracking.
• Experience using DocuSign for electronic signatures.
