About the role
Penspen is looking for a Cost Estimating Engineer to join its PMS project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role is accountable for managing the project controls team deployed across various projects, supporting the Project Management team which acts on behalf of the client (Khafji Joint Operations, KJO) and delivers the programme of projects.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Administration, Business or an equivalent closely related field, or a diploma with a certificate from a recognised agency in one or more areas of project cost estimation.
- Eight years of experience, or twelve years of experience, depending on the qualification path.
- Experience in project cost estimation for engineering, procurement and construction on major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
- Able to evaluate and advise on project cost estimation and forecasting issues and problems.
