Credit Associate – UAE National Graduate Program

About the role

We are seeking a UAE national graduate to join our Credit team as an Associate. The role is part of the Ethraa graduate programme, combining a six‑month structured training at the Emirates Institute of Finance with full‑time employment at Emirates Investment Bank in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating real‑estate‑backed lending proposals, reviewing property valuations and collateral quality.
• Support the determination and validation of Loan‑to‑Value (LTV) ratios for equity release and Lombard lending, applying internal policy thresholds and stress scenarios.
• Contribute to structuring equity‑release and top‑up financing proposals against existing property holdings.
• Prepare and draft Credit Proposal Notes for private‑banking clients.
• Analyse client financial profiles, including income streams, net‑worth statements and liquidity positions.
• Monitor collateral values and margin calls, especially during volatile market conditions.
• Track covenants and exposure limits to ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Liaise with Relationship Managers to gather required information and support deal execution.

Required profile

• UAE national, recent graduate eligible for the Ethraa programme.
• Strong interest in credit and banking operations.
• Willingness to undertake a six‑month training programme and continue in a full‑time role thereafter.
