Credit Manager

About the role

The Credit Manager will lead credit due diligence and risk assessment for trade finance transactions, ensuring compliance with DP World policies and regulatory requirements. This role is based in Dubai and focuses on managing portfolio risk, collections, and recoveries across a wide range of trade‑related financing products.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct credit due diligence on trade finance borrowers, evaluating management, financial, industry, and business risk.
• Identify credit and operational risks in documentation for receivables/payables financing, import/export financing, invoice discounting, commodity trade financing, inventory financing, buy‑sell transactions, and risk participation.
• Analyze financial statements, monitor early warning indicators, and manage collections.
• Ensure adherence to DP World’s internal policies, processes, and procedures.
• Proactively manage portfolio risk exposure, remediation, and recoveries.
• Identify key risks and drive alignment on mitigation actions.
• Interact with external service providers such as risk consultants, recovery agents, insurance companies, and brokers.
• Support credit risk solutions that meet company policies and regulatory standards.
• Review term sheets and vet loan documentation with borrowers.
