About the role
The Culinary Intern – Cold Section will join the food and beverage team at The Ritz‑Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal, gaining hands‑on experience in a luxury hotel environment. This full‑time internship is designed for current university students who wish to develop practical skills in cold kitchen operations while being immersed in Marriott’s culture and the brand’s Gold Standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the cold kitchen team in preparing and presenting salads, charcuterie, pâtés, and other cold dishes, ensuring adherence to the brand’s Gold Standards of quality and presentation.
- Learn and exemplify the Ritz‑Carlton Employee Promise, Credo, and Service Values by delivering gracious and thoughtful service to guests and supporting daily kitchen operations.
- Participate in training sessions on hotel operations, hospitality standards, and food safety procedures.
- Support inventory management, stock rotation, and sanitation practices within the cold section.
