About the role
The Customer Service Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional service to shoppers in a retail environment, ensuring the store is well‑presented, stocked and operating smoothly. You will engage with customers, handle inquiries and complaints, support sales and manage cash transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑level customer service, address basic complaints and escalate when needed.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep the sales floor clean and inviting.
- Receive shipments, restock shelves and assist with inventory management to keep the store fully stocked.
- Recommend products, upsell and cross‑sell based on customer needs.
- Operate the cash register, process payments and ensure accurate cash handling.
Required profile
- Previous experience in customer‑facing roles with a focus on excellent service.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain high store standards in organization and cleanliness.
- Proven ability to recommend products and engage in upselling and cross‑selling.
- Experience operating cash registers and following cash‑handling procedures.
