Data Analyst

About the role

The Data Analyst will support the Material Section by providing accurate supply forecasting, inventory analysis, and data‑driven recommendations to ensure optimal stock levels for critical equipment systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide annual supply forecasting requirements for the Annual Service Plan (ASP).
• Analyze due‑ins from OEMs, vendors, and balance‑on‑hand data for assigned equipment systems.
• Coordinate with Technical Supply and Technical Planning departments to advise on platform stock levels and assessment reports.
• Review inventory data and recommend optimal line‑item stock levels for main stores.
• Establish safety and reserve levels for critical line items to maintain operational readiness.
• Monitor spares status, maintenance trends, and support master data record maintenance.
• Facilitate requisition of authorised supplies and apply continuous improvement and LEAN principles.
• Ensure tools, test equipment, and high‑value property are serviceable, inventoried, and safeguarded.
• Support other material‑section members and maintain confidentiality of company documents.

• Support team members in the material section and perform additional duties as directed by the Material Manager.
