Data Analyst – UAE National (ICQA LND Analytics)

About the role

Amazon is a highly data‑driven organization that relies on precise metrics to improve quality and inventory management. As a Data Analyst within the ICQA LND Analytics team, you will create unique reports from multiple data sources and deliver insights that uncover the root causes of quality defects and inventory adjustments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data collection processes and manage data systems.
• Design SQL queries, compile data, and generate analytical reports.
• Chart and graph data for clear reporting.
• Build dashboards using Amazon QuickSight to support business decisions.
• Automate analyses with Python.
• Prepare and publish reports for weekly, quarterly, and project business reviews.
• Assist leadership in interpreting data trends.
• Research defect trends in depth and perform data entry as needed.
• Present analyses in standard, easy‑to‑understand reports.
• Support ICQA and Learning team projects.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with leadership, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.
• Experience managing large projects from start to finish, including data gathering, modeling, problem solving, and delivering recommendations.
• Understanding of business and customer needs and translating them into solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS technologies such as Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Firehose, Lambda, and IAM.
• Preferred: experience training or deploying machine‑learning systems for large‑scale optimization.
