Data Application Manager – Automotive

About the role

The Data Application Manager (Automotive) will lead the design, development and operation of data applications that support Al‑Futtaim’s automotive business. Working within the Global Technology & Digital Platform function, the role ensures that data is reliable, secure and ready for advanced analytics and AI initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement data application solutions aligned with automotive business objectives.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and oversee end‑to‑end delivery.
• Manage Azure‑based data architecture, including storage, processing and analytics layers.
• Integrate data from multiple automotive systems into a centralized platform.
• Monitor, optimise and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes and application performance.
• Lead a lean, high‑performing team of data engineers, providing mentorship and technical guidance.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in data engineering or data application development.
• Proven track record of managing data teams and delivering large‑scale data solutions.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security and best‑practice standards.
