Data Engineer – Actuarial & Insurance Analytics

About the role
We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our Actuarial Services team in Dubai. You will design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines that turn complex insurance data into actionable insights for reserving, pricing and profitability analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Build and automate data workflows using Alteryx, SQL and Python.
- Integrate data from policy administration, claims, finance and other business systems.
- Improve data quality, governance and controls across actuarial processes.
- Collaborate with actuaries, underwriters, finance and IT to deliver business‑critical analytics.
- Support data visualization and reporting through Power BI.
Required profile
- 3–7 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering or BI development.
- Strong background in ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience working with large and complex insurance datasets.
