Data Network Engineer

About the role

The Data Network Engineer will own the full lifecycle of data network and ICT solutions delivered under Al‑Futtaim’s AMC contracts. You will work hands‑on with Cisco and Aruba equipment, manage service level agreements, and provide on‑site support to customers across Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Implement data network and ICT solutions in coordination with customers, principals, service providers and business partners.
• Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise‑level network hardware and applications at customer premises.
• Configure and install routers, Cisco and Aruba switches, wireless controllers, firewalls and load balancers.
• Perform network maintenance, upgrades, patches, hot‑fixes and security configurations.
• Manage end‑to‑end break/fix incidents, root‑cause analysis and equipment replacement.
• Deliver preventive maintenance health checks and respond to service requests within SLA requirements.
• Execute change‑management activities and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and budget.
• Provide system usage training to customers and prioritize workload to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience installing, configuring and supporting switches and wireless controllers.
• Ability to work under pressure, coordinate escalations and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for network infrastructure.
