About the role

Join Accor’s vibrant kitchen team in Dubai as a Demi Chef De Partie – Cold. You will work side‑by‑side with the Chef de Partie, preparing and presenting high‑quality cold dishes that delight our guests and uphold the brand’s reputation for excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, mise en place, and cooking under the guidance of the Chef de Partie.
• Execute assigned cooking tasks, ensuring dishes meet recipe specifications and hotel quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and proper functioning of the cold section equipment.
• Control quality, taste, and presentation of dishes before service.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations, handling, storing, and disposing of food correctly.
• Support menu development by testing new recipes and suggesting improvements.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with inventory monitoring, ordering, and stock management.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, including commis chefs and apprentices.
• Adapt to work in different kitchen sections as needed.

Required profile

• Culinary school diploma or equivalent training.
• Previous experience in a similar hotel or restaurant kitchen role.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Strong culinary skills and passion for cooking.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Currently residing in the UAE and available to join immediately is an advantage.
