About the role

Rotana Hotels is looking for a passionate Demi Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at Park Rotana & Park Arjaan Abu Dhabi. You will support daily kitchen operations, ensuring high‑quality food preparation and strict hygiene standards while contributing to a memorable guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Prepare food according to menu specifications and maintain hygienic work areas.
• Control food stock and manage food cost within your section.
• Prepare daily mise‑en‑place and produce dishes across main and satellite kitchens.
• Follow instructions from superiors to complete daily tasks efficiently.
• Maintain consistent quality, stay updated on new products, recipes, and techniques.
• Lead and instruct junior staff in food preparation and assist with buffet and special function setups.
• Coordinate with other sections on cleanliness, waste reduction, and cost control.

Required profile

• Professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course.
• Previous experience in quality establishments with strong culinary skills.
• Fluent English communication.
• Proven knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and preservation.
• Positive, dynamic, creative, and dedicated team player able to work in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to handle demanding conditions and collaborate across departments.
