Deputy Editor – Print & Digital Content (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

Motivate Media Group is looking for a dynamic Deputy Editor to lead the print and digital editorial output of What’s On Abu Dhabi. You will shape the magazine’s voice, oversee content creation and ensure a vibrant mix of events, community news and lifestyle features for a fast‑moving audience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, commission and edit content for the monthly print magazine and its online platforms.
• Develop and execute the brand’s print, digital and social media strategy in partnership with the Group Editor.
• Manage social media accounts, create video assets and monitor audience analytics.
• Oversee commercial projects, budget planning and ensure all content complies with legal standards.
• Represent the title at events and act as the brand guardian for tone and quality.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in editorial, content management or related media roles.
• Strong copy‑editing and sub‑editing skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written communication and organisational abilities.
• Self‑motivated team player comfortable working across print and digital channels.
