DevOps Engineer – Azure & Kubernetes (UAE)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our client in the UAE on a full‑time basis. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of cloud‑native services running on Azure AKS and on‑premises air‑gapped Kubernetes clusters.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain scalable, resilient, and secure Kubernetes platforms (AKS, RKE2) including ingress, storage, and stateful workloads.
• Automate operations and deployments using Python, Go, Bash, Terraform, Bicep, Ansible and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD and Kustomize.
• Operate CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, manage container supply chains, private registry mirroring and image scanning for both connected and air‑gapped environments.
• Monitor system performance with Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry, and proactively resolve incidents.
• Lead incident response, perform root‑cause analysis and drive post‑incident improvements.
• Document and enforce best practices for security, compliance and operations across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Collaborate with development, security and operations teams and participate in on‑call rotations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services, networking and security.
• Hands‑on experience with managed (AKS) and self‑managed/air‑gapped (RKE2, Rancher) Kubernetes.
• Proven incident‑management and troubleshooting track record.
