Digital Onboarding & Commercialization Officer (Emiratized)

About the role

The Digital Onboarding & Commercialization Officer (Emiratized) supports the Indemnities team in managing customer exit requests, retaining relationships and ensuring smooth processing of End‑of‑Service Benefits (EOSB). The role combines credit risk analysis, customer communication and operational coordination within First Abu Dhabi Bank.

Key responsibilities

• Screen customers’ financial records from a credit and risk perspective and propose retention solutions.
• Prepare and submit management proposals for EOSB cases to continue borrowing relationships while controlling risk exposure.
• Collaborate with Credit, Collections, Operations, Risk, branches and relationship managers to identify risks and retention opportunities.
• Assess customers’ financial standing after final settlement and obtain guarantees or supporting documents.
• Execute operational acceptance of EOSB batches, place alerts, and earmark accounts as required.
• Manage internal and external communications to enhance customer experience and represent the Indemnities department in meetings.
• Ensure departmental turnaround times are met, follow up with other units to avoid delays, and handle escalations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date MIS, produce weekly/monthly statistical reports and analyse KPI trends.
• Record all transactions accurately and escalate any risk or process breaches to management.

Required profile

• Experience in banking operations, credit risk assessment or customer retention.
• Strong understanding of End‑of‑Service Benefits and related documentation.
• Ability to prepare analytical proposals and present them to senior management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented with solid record‑keeping and reporting capabilities.
• Proactive attitude to coordinate with multiple departments and meet service level agreements.
